About 2048.global
2048.global is an independent browser implementation of the 2048 puzzle. It is designed for keyboard and touch play, with local saves and several ways to approach the same 4 × 4 board.
The original idea
The 2048 game was created by Gabriele Cirulli in 2014. You can visit the original 2048 website to learn about and play that project. This website is independently developed and is not the official site or an affiliated service.
What you can play here
Classic keeps the focus on sliding and merging. Standard adds three powerups; Plus offers additional tools. The tutorial helps new players learn the controls. All modes on this site are free.
Simple, local progress
The game stores progress in your current browser. There are no player accounts, payment systems, or cross-device scoreboards. Read our privacy policy for details about browser storage and server logs.
